Child Safety Standards

How Frinity stands against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), what we do when we find it, and who to write to. These standards apply to the Frinity app and to this website.

Effective from 2026-09-01

1. Our position

Frinity has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. There is no warning, no second chance and no strike count. The content goes, the account goes, and where the law requires it, the case goes to the authorities.

This applies to material of any kind, to attempts to contact a child for that purpose (grooming), to solicitation, and to sexual content showing anyone who is or appears to be a minor.

2. Who may use Frinity

An account may be created only by someone aged 15 or over. Age is asked before the account exists, and an account we learn belongs to a younger person is closed and its data deleted.

Frinity is not a service for children and is not designed for them. That does not weaken anything on this page — these standards hold regardless of who actually uses the app.

3. How to report it

Reporting works from inside the app: every photo and every account has a report option under the three dots, and it takes one tap.

You can also report without an account, by writing to [email protected]. Put “CSAE” in the subject and it goes to the top of the queue.

Reports of this kind are handled ahead of everything else, and we aim to act within 24 hours.

4. What we do with a report

We look at the reported content. If it is or may be CSAE material, we remove it immediately, close the account behind it, and preserve what the authorities need.

We report suspected offences to the Police of the Czech Republic and, where it applies, to the relevant international body. We do not warn the account holder in advance where that would frustrate the investigation.

We also block the reported person from contacting the person who reported them.

5. What is built into the app

  • An event gallery is not public. Files sit in closed storage and open only to people who are part of that event, through short-lived signed links.
  • There is no public feed, no discovery of strangers and no random contact. You only ever see people you added as friends or who are in an event with you.
  • Anyone can be blocked, which stops them appearing to you in search and on the map and prevents any friend request between you.
  • Photos and accounts can be reported from where they appear, without leaving the screen.
  • A person in a photo can have it removed even if somebody else uploaded it, and does not need that person's agreement.

6. Contact for child safety

[email protected] — this is the designated contact for child safety matters, including questions from authorities and from Google.

The operator's name, registered address and company number are on the Contact page.

7. Compliance

We follow the child protection laws that apply to us and the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy. Where a legal duty and a policy differ, we follow the stricter one.
